Rebel Wilson has signed up for a show with Ant Middleton

Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking is set to air early next year on Sky One and NOW TV and will see the pair bond as they travel with only a 4×4 and their personal backpacks.

It will be a chance for fans of Rebel, who recently shed 40 pounds in weight, to hear the star talk about her life in the public eye – as well as see the two take on buggy racing and deep-sea diving.

Phil Edgar-Jones, Director of Sky Arts and Entertainment at Sky said: “Ant’s finely honed skills in interrogation and strategic questioning along with his open and friendly nature will help him get to know the real Rebel Wilson, amidst the incredible backdrop of remote Mexico.”

The show follows last year’s edition which saw Ant travel to the Namibian desert with One Direction’s Liam Payne.

Fans of the former boyband member were left emotional when he revealed he suffered suicidal thoughts as he struggled with fame.

Liam, 27, also opened up about his relationship regrets with ex Cheryl in a frank conversation with 39-year-old former army man.

Rebel turned 40 in March and has recently been enjoying rocking a slimmer look.

In January, The Australian actress announced this would be her ‘Year of Health’ and she overhauled her lifestyle entirely with surfing and refusing to use the word ‘diet’.

She told how her impending 40th birthday, as well as suffering mental health issues over Hollywood’s attitude to weight, had encouraged her decision to overhaul her lifestyle.

She exclusively told The Sun: “Weirdly this year was always going to be the year of health. I’ve been naming my years now, and, that’s kind of having these resolutions but for the whole year.”

She said: “It’s not like I want to lose weight and get to a certain number. It’s more than that.

“It’s about dealing mentally with why I was overeating and I had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be bigger at times, which can kind of mess with your head a bit.”

The star – who recently went public with new boyfriend Jacob Busch– has been dedicated to her exercise regime and healthy nutrition as she dropped dress sizes.
