BRAD Pitt is seen in tears as he gifts an old friend a renovated property in the first trailer for the Property Brothers’ new HGTV show, Celebrity IOU.
Avengers star Jeremy Renner, Melissa McCarthy and Rebel Wilson are among the celebrities to join Drew and Jonathan Scott’s new show.
Brad, who is in the middle of a contentious custody and divorce battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, is seen welling up as he hugs his friend, make-up artist Jean Black, after unveiling her new property.
“I love you, Brad,” she weeps.
“Look who’s coming to Celebrity IOU! Don’t miss Brad Pitt on tomorrow night’s episode of #CelebIOU at 9|8c,” HGTV shared on Instagram.
“It’s amazing to see someone who is extremely successful be grounded enough to always remember the people who helped them get there,” said Jonathan.
Drew added: “Being a part of this show really hits home for us.
“This is what we love to do, transforming people’s lives through their homes.”
The show promises to offer a look at the celebrities as they “share an authentic, inside look into their personal lives and get hands-on with Drew and Jonathan to imagine a design plan and create a beautifully customized space that rewards mentors, friends and family members”.
“Throughout the season, the brothers travel across the country to help create stunning new spaces on tight timelines,” reads the synopsis.
“The projects include converting a detached garage into a gorgeous yet functional guest retreat, overhauling a lackluster backyard into an entertainer’s dream, and taking a condo from its outdated ‘70s style to a modern, cozy home perfect for family gatherings.”
Celebrity IOU airs on HGTV GO on Mondays at 9 p.m. beginning April 13.
